Some 241 of the 242 people on board the plane were killed when it crashed and struck a medical college in Ahmedabad on June 12.

The Government has said the Bank of England will monitor cash acceptance on an ongoing basis, following a Treasury Committee report which raised concerns about the future of coins and banknotes.
