The Houston Astros have recalled Shay Whitcomb and Jon Singleton from Triple-A Sugar Land as they deal with the fallout form Isaac Paredes' injury.

With Yordan Alvarez still sidelined, the Astros have a need they want to secure before the trade deadline approaches.
