The NBA has made a historical announcement regarding Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander during their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The NBA fined Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards $50,000 on Wednesday night for "using profane language during a media interview" after the team's Game 1 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference finals.

One of the main reasons that the Timberwolves were unable to get anything going was the lack of contribution from their bench. Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Naz Reid, and Donte DiVincenzo each struggled mightily to put the ball in the basket, which allowed the Thunder to create separation quickly.
