New Prime Video thriller series The Assassin is now available to stream in full, and it sees Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore play an estranged mother and son, Julie and Edward. The series, which comes from writers Harry and Jack Williams, sees the duo having to go on the run, after Julie's past as a professional assassin catches up with her.

The Assassin star Keeley Hawes is already receiving praise for her role as Julie in the new six-part thriller on Prime Video. She stars opposite The Good Doctor’s Freddie Highmore, who plays her son in the high-stakes action drama.
