Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese didn't square off on Tuesday night, but WNBA fans still had an awful lot to say about their rivalry. Since the Iowa-LSU national title game in 2023, Clark and Reese have shared plenty of intense battles on the hardwood.

When those picks came around, Clark went with Kelsey Mitchell, her Fever teammate, and Gabby Williams of the Seattle Storm. That's when the other captain, Napheesa Collier, chose Reese. Clark and Reese's apparent rivalry dates to their days as college opponents, Clark with Iowa and Reese with LSU.
