The Trump administration may deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Uganda after he rejected a last-minute deal to remain in jail, plead guilty to human smuggling charges and be deported to Costa Rica, a legal notice filed Saturday by his attorneys said.

The El Salvador-born migrant was ordered to report to ICE custody on Monday, and could be deported to Uganda in the future.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man who was unlawfully deported to El Salvador earlier this year, will gather with members of his family, immigration activists, community leaders and elected officials at a rally in Baltimore on Monday morning as the Trump administration warns it could send him to Uganda as soon as this week.
