Millions of people across the country are expected to join in protest this weekend against Donald Trump’s administration, a movement intended to coincide with the president’s planned military parade in Washington — and the commander-in-chief’s 79th birthday.

Millions of people turned out for "No Kings" protests nationwide on Saturday that were largely peaceful though there were some arrests and police had to disperse unruly crowds, including in Georgia and Los Angeles.

The “No Kings” movement stemmed from the “Hands off!” protests that took place in April and May. Saturday’s protests also opposed Trump’s military parade honoring the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, which coincided with the president’s 79th birthday.
