New York Knicks superstar guard Jalen Brunson provided some insight into his psyche following the Knicks' shocking overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday night.
The Knicks went on a surge in the second quarter to take a seven-point lead at halftime. In fact, they scored 69 points and shot 51% from the field and 42.1% from 3-point range while three of their players scored at least a dozen points.
Despite the loss, former Dallas Maverick Jalen Brunson had himself a game: 43 points and 5 assists on 15/25 shooting, including 12/14 from the free-throw line. He tied himself, Bernard King, and Willis Reed for the 9th-highest scoring playoff game in Knicks history.
