As initially reported by WrestleTix, NXT at the Yuengling Center has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales. While Saturday Night's Main Event and Raw are nearly sold out, and NXT Battleground has shipped around 6,000 tickets, Tuesday's NXT event had only sold approximately 1,700 tickets before it was cancelled.

WWE shortened its Tampa residency after fewer than 2,000 tickets were sold for next Tuesday’s NXT live TV event.

WWE’s upcoming takeover in Tampa, Florida now has one less show after the cancellation of "WWE NXT" on May 27.
