After starring at Maryland and LSU, Reese entered the WNBA as the No. 7 pick in the 2024 draft. She quickly adjusted to the pros, earning an All-Star nod in her rookie season. Through 60 career games, she is averaging 14.0 points and 12.7 rebounds, and she set the single-season rebounding record as a rookie.

As mentioned in the post, Reese also now leads the league in double-doubles this season with 20. She surpassed A’ja Wilson and Phoenix Mercury star Alyssa Thomas, who both currently have 19. This is despite the fact that the Sky star has missed 10 games this year due to injury.

Already this season Reese became the quickest player to reach 450 points and 450 rebounds in WNBA history, and she became the first player in WNBA history to record 15 or more rebounds in four straight games. And in Saturday's 94-84 loss to the Connecticut Sun, Reese wrote her name in the WNBA record books again.
