No. 8 seed Tennessee baseball is playing No. 1 Texas in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals after beating Alabama 15-10 in its opener.

Tennessee's offense has typically been at its best when Gavin Kilen is at his best. Kilen was excellent in the SEC Tournament. He had the two big hits in Tennessee's extra-innings win against Texas. He slugged a go-ahead homer in the ninth inning then bashed the two-run double that lifted UT to the win.
