Phillips joined the league in 2015 as a second-round pick with the Miami Dolphins. After being released by the team in 2018, Buffalo claimed the defensive tackle off waivers. He re-signed with the team in 2019 and registered a career-high 9.5 sacks that season.

The Buffalo Bills have added defensive tackle Jordan Phillips to their locker room (times four). Phillips, 32, has now joined the Bills on four separate occasions, spanning over five seasons.
