A basketball card featuring the uniform logos and signatures of legendary players Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant sold for $12.9 million at the auction house’s Summer Platinum Night Sports sale in Dallas, Texas, on Sunday evening, setting a new world record in the process.

"Shark Tank" star investor Kevin O'Leary revealed Monday that he was one of three people to purchase a Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan collectible sports card for nearly $13 million at a Heritage Auctions event this past weekend.

Not only did the Jordan/Bryant card, which was called a Holy Grail by ESPN, break a record, but it is the second most expensive sports collectible, second only to Babe Ruth’s 1932 World Series “called shot” jersey. That sold for $24.12 million last year.
