Chelsea cruised to their first win of the season as they thrashed West Ham 5-1 at the London Stadium. A fantastic goal by Lucas Paqueta gave the hosts a shock lead on six minutes, but it didn’t take long for Chelsea to level through Joao Pedro and then edge ahead as Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez made it 3-1 at half-time.

Chelsea put their offensive woes from the season opener to bed in a 5–1 demolition of West Ham United on the road.
