Carolina Hurricanes injured defenseman Jalen Chatfield sat out Thursday night in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final against the Florida Panthers. This marks Chatfield's third straight missed game going back to the Game 5 finale in the second-round series against the Washington Capitals.

The Carolina Hurricanes fell to the Florida Panthers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final. Despite playing the game at home, Carolina wasn't able to muster up the same energy as the defending champions to get the win.
