President Donald Trump’s sweeping domestic policy bill cleared a critical hurdle in the early hours of Thursday morning as House GOP leaders push ahead to a full House floor vote, which is now on track to take place within hours.

A vote on Trump’s big budget bill could come early Thursday morning. The legislation would extend tax cuts and add billions in new spending – and trillions in debt.

The amendment to the package, which advanced out of the Rules Committee, includes speeding up Medicaid work requirements and expanding the state and local tax deduction.
