Harvard University's links to China, long an asset to the school, have become a liability as the Trump administration levels accusations that its campus is plagued by Beijing-backed influence operations.

Harvard's longstanding ties to China have come under intense scrutiny, as the Trump administration accuses the university of enabling Beijing's influence and revokes its ability to enroll foreign students.

As Trump moves to ban foreign students from enrolling at Harvard, at least one university in China says applicants are welcome to come there instead.
