Detroit Tigers right-hander Casey Mize (hamstring) threw five innings in a simulated game at Comerica Park on Monday, according to The Detroit News' Chris McCosky. Mize is on track to come off the 15-day injured list and start against the division-rival Cleveland Guardians on Saturday.
