The preseason is mercifully over for the Carolina Panthers, who went 0-3 and didn't look particularly impressive at any point except for one touchdown drive led by Bryce Young against the Browns. While the 2025 draft class looked strong, there wasn't much else to like - including the team's quarterback depth getting exposed in a bad way.

The preseason slate has been completed. Now it’s time to cut the roster down to 53 players. Our first and final projection is ready to go.

There will be as many as seven new starters, plus the return of Pro Bowl defensive lineman Derrick Brown, who missed the final 16 games in 2024 with a torn meniscus. Paring down the wide receiver group to six or seven will be the biggest challenge.
