You’re not imagining that campfire smell — thick smoke from Canadian wildfires has settled over Minnesota again, with air quality now unhealthy for everyone.
MINNEAPOLIS — Poor air quality in the Twin Cities due to Canadian wildfire smoke has caused the KARE 11 Weather team to issue a Weather Impact Alert. The alert is in effect now and will continue until 7 a.m. on Sunday.
Canadian wildfires are impacting the air quality in Lincoln. On Sunday, Airnow.gov rated Lincoln’s air quality at moderate (66) as of 1 p.m. According to Airnow.gov, individuals who are unusually sensitive to particle pollution should consider reducing their activity level or shorten the amount of time they are active outdoors.
