Oklahoma City Thunder coach Mark Daigneault said pregame his team was expecting a "haymaker" from the Minnesota Timberwolves, who were facing a 2-0 series deficit heading into Game 3 of the Western Conference finals Saturday night.

-The Thunder looked dominant in the second half of their Game 2 win over the Timberwolves, riding a 70-40 second half to that 26-point win. -OKC won that game with its defense, just like the rest of the season. They recorded 13 steals while forcing 17 turnovers from Minnesota.

For a second consecutive time, the Thunder enjoyed a lopsided win over the Timberwolves. A strong third quarter pushed them to a 118-103 Game 2 win. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander rode the high emotions of his MVP trophy presentation to an efficient 38 points.
