It's official. Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the 2024-25 NBA Most Valuable Player. The big news was announced on Wednesday, coming less than 24 hours after Gilgeous-Alexander led OKC to a dominant 114-88 blowout win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.

After months of anticipation, the NBA announced on Wednesday that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has won the 2024-25 MVP award. The 26-year-old brings home the trophy to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Draymond Green and Kevon Looney both fouled out. Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley each had five fouls. Donte DiVincenzo, Naz Reid and Jimmy Butler each had four. It was a whistle-fest that saw 47 fouls called between the teams.
