Righty Brayan Bello, Friday’s original scheduled starter, will go in Game 1. Lucas Giolito, who was slated to pitch Thursday, will pitch the nightcap. The Red Sox will be able to call up a 27th player for Friday’s doubleheader. That’s expected to be a pitcher with the bullpen having heavily been taxed in the three-game series against the Mets.
