The House has passed three bills intended to boost the legitimacy of the cryptocurrency industry with new regulations as President Donald Trump has pushed to make the U.S. the "crypto capital of the world.

U.S. crypto investors moved a step closer to getting more regulatory clarity after the House of Representatives voted to advance three pieces of crypto-related legislation on Thursday, with one of them expected to be singed into law soon.

House passage of the measures marks a breakthrough for the digital assets sector and sends one of the bills to President Donald Trump.
