Coca-Cola on Tuesday reported quarterly earnings and revenue that topped analysts' expectations as strong demand in Europe offset weaker volume in other markets. The Coca-Cola bottler on Thursday posted a profit of $187.4 million, or $2.15 a share, compared with $172.8 million, or $1.85 a share, a year earlier.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. (COKE) on Thursday reported earnings of $187.4 million in its second quarter. The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company said it had net income of $2.15 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $2.24 per share.
