Nick Wright of FOX hilariously roasts Angel Reese's role in her ongoing rivalry with WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark.

In the Sky's season-opener against the Indiana Fever, Reese had a record-setting game, as she finished with a massive double-double of 12 points and 17 rebounds. In doing so, she became the fastest player to reach 450 points and 450 rebounds in league history—needing only 35 games to do it.

Reese and Cardoso were already familiar with each other before arriving in the WNBA. Cardoso starred at South Carolina, where she earned Most Outstanding Player honors in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Her Gamecocks defeated Iowa in the national championship game.

On the heels of an undefeated preseason, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever continued their winning ways in their 2025 WNBA regular-season opener on Saturday, blowing out Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky 93-58 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Though Angel Reese scored 12 points and 17 rebounds for the Chicago Sky in the first game of her sophomore WNBA season last Saturday, it was not enough to win against the team's rival, the Indiana Fever. With a final score of 93-58, the Fever dominated and Indiana's victory margin matched the second-largest in franchise history.
