U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he would impose a 50% tariff on imported copper and soon introduce long-threatened levies on semiconductors and pharmaceuticals, broadening his trade war that has rattled markets worldwide.

President Trump on Tuesday vowed to not back down on his new Aug. 1 deadline on tariffs — but Wall Street isn’t convinced.

Opening Protected Public Land: Trump signed an executive order to “promote responsible stewardship of natural resources while driving economic growth” on historically protected public land. The administration has pushed to reverse climate policies that restricted drilling, mining and other activities across public lands and federal waters.
