Erin will make its closest pass to the U.S. on Thursday, when the onshore winds will be strongest, leading to coastal flood concerns and dangerous rip currents.

The International Space Station captured Hurricane Erin as it traveled northwest through the Caribbean, with sustained wind speeds of 105 mph.

What is very likely, however, is that our weather will become more unsettled with wet and perhaps windy conditions at times during the second half of next week.
