GameStop is auctioning off the stapler and staple that damaged a customer’s Nintendo Switch 2 for charity. During a midnight launch for the Nintendo Switch 2, an employee at the Staten Island branch of GameSpot stapled the pre-order receipt to the front of a customer’s Nintendo Switch 2 box.
What started as an embarrassing mistake develops into a remarkable fundraiser. Gamestop is currently auctioning the notorious Tacker, which damaged several consoles during the Nintendo Switch 2 sales start on June fifth June 2025. The auction has now reached a remarkable sum of $ 108,895 (around 92,750 euros).
