The New England Patriots and New York Giants have put the preseason to bed. The two clubs squared off on Thursday night for their final exhibition of the summer, and it was the Giants who ended the preseason on a winning note with a 42-10 victory at MetLife Stadium.
That is a feeling that the newest rendition of the team is one that’s different from the one that left the field in complete despair and facing roster upheaval after a 3-14 last season, and one that can finally turn the poor fortunes of the organization around in the latest season to come.
The final preseason game for the new-look Giants comes Thursday night. Looking equally strong this summer are the New England Patriots, who also are 2-0, but are not expected to play starting quarterback Drake Maye in this game.
