Israel’s Netanyahu nominates Trump for Nobel Peace Prize amid hopes for Gaza ceasefire - Netanyahu has visited the White House two other times since Trump returned to office in January

Trump has largely focused on expanding the Abraham Accords, an agreement in his first term that led to normalization of relations between Israel and some Arab nations. He's also proposed a relocation plan for Gaza's two million Palestinians, which Netanyahu endorsed at the time.

Trump said on Sunday there was a good chance such a deal could be reached this week, while Netanyahu said he believed his discussions with Trump would help advance talks underway in Qatar.
