From Harry Potter to Super Mario Bros. to Frankenstein’s monster, Universal Orlando Resort is pulling out all the pop culture stops at its newest and largest theme park in Florida.

Theme park takes advantage of leaps in high-tech advances and presents 21st century interactive experiences to guests.

The blue carpet rolled out Wednesday evening in Orlando, bringing out celebrities and Universal leaders ahead of the grand opening of Epic Universe. Stars from Harry Potter were among the star-studded celebrities walking the carpet. It’s the day so many people have been waiting for.

The company opened its Epic Universe theme park in Orlando Thursday, after hosting a star-studded party Wednesday evening.

One distinguishing look of Epic Universe is its portals, the physical gateways that lead into its themed worlds. They are rounded walk-through chutes topped by spires with symbols corresponding to the upcoming land. At the top of each curve is a bit of prose.
