Immigration officials have said they plan to deport Abrego Garcia to Uganda, which recently agreed to a deal to accept certain deportees from the U.S.

Abrego is expected to be taken into ICE custody during his appointment Monday. He faces deportation to Uganda and has been offered a plea deal that includes eventual deportation to Costa Rica.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is expected to appear before immigration authorities on Monday morning in Baltimore, where he faces the possibility of being detained again.
