Microsoft's new extension puts Edge developer tools inside its popular Visual Studio Code editor.

Microsoft has moved its Edge browser development tools for Visual Studio Code from preview to general availability, providing in-editor web site debugging and other functionality.

The source code editor now allows the selection of a default browser and brings new features for pull requests. Support for TypeScript 5.6 is also included.
