SPARTANBURG, S.C. — As USC Upstate prepares to welcome some students back to the classroom Aug. 20, the nursing school is making special arrangements for one of the largest programs in the state.
From there, they'll apply for the nursing program in which they'll become a USC Aiken at Sumter student. Classes and clinicals will take place in a redesigned area of the school's library.
Simenson is the program manager. She joined USC Sumter in 2020, using her decades of nursing experience at Prisma Health’s Tuomey Hospital to help build the school’s program.
