According to the National Hurricane Center's 5 p.m. Monday advisory, Tropical Storm Fernand is in the Atlantic Ocean, 425 miles east-northeast of Bermuda. With maximum sustained winds of 60 mph, it is moving north-northeast at 13 mph.

On the hurricane center’s official forecast track, the center of Fernand will pass well to the east of Bermuda on Monday and head toward the northern Atlantic. The hurricane center was also tracking a tropical wave that was poised to move into the Caribbean soon.
