One of the features on the castle-shaped box set (already enough reason to get it) is the video above, a 14-minute collection of Terry Gilliam’s animation that was cut from the final film.

It’s been 40 years, but now Monty Python completists can finally get a look at some Terry Gilliam animated footage that didn’t make it into Holy Grail. Better late than never.

The video has surfaced ahead of the theatrical re-release of the Monty Python and the Holy Grail, 40 years after it originally came out. It is also being released on Blu-ray and DVD on October 27.
