For example, MP3 files can be downloaded to and played from the PS2 hard drive, and software patches for both the MP3 player and browser will also be available for download in the future.

The browser can also handle POP and SMTP mail, as well as play MP3s. This version will not allow you to save MP3 files onto the 8MB memory card, but that feature will be available in a later version.

Simply download an MP3 file through the browser, and your PS2 will play it back for you. Unfortunately, there's no way to save the file to your memory card at this point.
