Roblox on Friday announced it is building a generative AI model to allow creators to more easily build 3D objects and scenes.

The subscription model is likely to boost growth through a stream of recurring revenue.Roblox is also looking at brands with whom it can create marketing partnerships.

Roblox released its financial results for the full year 2021, reporting a 108% increase in revenue to $1.9 billion.

"The model is unlike any we've encountered," Stifel said of Roblox, pointing to the social and content aspects of its online gaming platform.
