In a make-up game delayed from the night of Monday, May 19, due to inclement weather, the Guardians and Twins resumed the same game on Wednesday. As the bad weather persisted into Tuesday, that game was also rescheduled to Wednesday afternoon and started just 30 minutes after the conclusion of the resumed game.

Correa suffered the injury back on May 15 when he collided with Byron Buxton in the outfield and has missed Minnesota's last five games as a result. He was reinstated on Friday after passing concussion protocol, just in time to take on the Kansas City Royals in the first game of a three-game set.
