Instructables user Ardumotive_com has published a new project that explains how to create your very own Arduino powered mini CNC plotter.

An interesting Arduino project has been published to the Instructables website showing how an Arduino CNC shield and controller has been used to create an awesome 3 axis Arduino CNC plotter.

Being only ten at the time I was unable to build the thing and, now that I’m 40, I still can’t fathom how to build this DIY CNC plotter out of a DVD player and some Arduino gear.

From there it gets converted to serial commands for an Arduino which controls the steppers with two EasyDrivers. The build itself is really nice.
