Google has recently enhanced its machine learning platform, Colab, by introducing AI-powered code assistance to all users, including those on free plans.

In its announcement post, Google says these features come to Colab through Codey, a generative AI model focusing on coding. It is based on PaLM 2 and was detailed at the recently concluded I/O 2023.
