Select the range of cells. Click on Insert and select Pivot Table. By default, the table range is mentioned, and the pivot table opens in a new worksheet. Keep it that way and select OK.
Stay tuned Excel PivotTables are flexible. The one thing that’s not available is a way to add more grand total rows. In a future article, I’ll show you how to do so.
You can insert blanks rows above or below another in Excel, and you can even add them between each row that has data.
You can convert daily data to weekly data in Excel by creating a pivot table, and grouping the rows in the pivot table in groups of seven days, or one week.
