Microsoft Excel has an import wizard, but if you structure the text correctly, you can bypass the wizard altogether.
To import data from a text file into Microsoft Excel, follow this step-by-step guide: First, create a blank spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel and ensure you have the .txt file on your PC.
The first step of the Text Import Wizard will show up; Excel will detect the state of the data that you selected. When you have chosen the options, press Next to move to the next screen.
Step 2 when importing data is the command “Data -‘ From Picture -‘ Picture from File”. On the right side you can check the data before importing or insert it directly into the spreadsheet.
