The Minecraft 1.19 update for Java Edition was recently released on June 7 as millions of fans downloaded it to check out all the new features.

Luckily, Minecraft Java Edition can be heavily modded to add all kinds of third-party features. One of these mods features the heads of almost all the mobs available in the game.

Here's how you can extend your enjoyment of "Minecraft" even further by installing add-ons in Java Edition and mods in Bedrock Edition.

As a free and open-source application for Java edition, there are hardly any reasons not to use Minecraft Forge - many mods even require this mod loader to operate.

On the left-hand side of the launcher, choose Minecraft: Java Edition. You see the Play button? To the left is a drop-down menu, which now has the Essential Mod as a launch option.

Aside from Add-Ons, the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition and Pocket Edition have lacked any means of modding or customizability.
