The Nittany Lions will play their first four Big Ten games on the road. Penn State opens at Ohio State on October 30 and 31, a nice appetizer before the football game on November 1. The following weekend marks the first two games of the much-anticipated regular season series against Michigan State.

Michigan State's 2025-26 hockey schedule includes non-conference matchups against Boston University, Northern Michigan, and Colgate. Michigan State will participate in the Great Lakes Invitational against Ferris State, Michigan Tech, or Miami (OH).
