It's not clear in what countries or on what carriers the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will be available. The 2016 models are available on the Google Store, Verizon, Project Fi, and Best Buy.

The phone combined Google's leading apps and features — Maps, Search, Photos, Assistant, etc. — with smart, simple hardware. Pixel 2 does all that still. It's just a little bit better.

Google's using a new 12-megapixel system for the Pixel 2, with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization. The biggest upgrade comes in the software, though.

The Pixel 2 XL perks up the already excellent Pixel 2 with more screen space. It has a fantastic camera, waterproofing and the Google Lens feature that helps you learn more about the world around you.
