In future versions of Windows 10, Microsoft is making it so you can now completely uninstall the venerable Notepad, Paint, and WordPad programs from the operating system.

The latest Windows 10 Insider Preview builds let users uninstall Microsoft Paint, Notepad, and WordPad.

The Notepad in Windows 11/10 gets several new features. You can search selected text with Bing, Delete previously typed word, Wrap Around, Text Zooming, etc.

Microsoft is moving the distribution of their iconic Windows 10 Notepad application to the Microsoft Store in order to facilitate faster and more frequent updates.

As Windows Latest reports, the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview build, known as version 20H1 Build 19041, contains three new entries in the Optional features app list.
