If you launch multiple files by double-clicking their shortcut icons, or via the "Open" menu in Excel, the files will run simultaneously in one Excel window.

Microsoft Excel has an import wizard, but if you structure the text correctly, you can bypass the wizard altogether.

Open Excel, go to the File menu, click "Open" and locate your file. Hold down the "Shift" key while you click "Open," and continue holding it until the workbook finishes loading.

You must be able to open the corrupted workbook for the following to work: From the File menu, choose Save As. In Excel 2007, click the Office button.
