BYU shot a 4-over 292 in Monday's fourth round of the NCAA Men's Golf Championships and tied for 13th place with Vanderbilt.

BYU’s run at the NCAA golf championships ended just before the final stage in California. The No. 19 team in the country advanced to the final day of stroke play and made the 15-team cut over No. 11 Illinois and No. 14 UCLA. But it was edged out by Ole Miss for the last spot in the eight-team match play event that will determine the championship.

Led by senior Zac Jones' 1-under-par 71, the Cougars finished at 18-over and a tie for 13th with Vanderbilt at the conclusion of the stroke-play competition Monday at Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad,
